Carlotta J. Alvstad's Obituary
Carlotta (“Lulu”) Alvstad, a resident of Broken Arrow, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2016 at the age of 72. She was born September 13, 1943 in Stanley, North Dakota. She was an Executive Secretary for various corporations throughout her career. Everyone has fond memories of her cooking for holiday gatherings for family and friends, playing the ukulele, singing in the church choir, gardening, baking her signature chocolate chip cookies, as well as blessing innumerable people with her knitting and sewing creations/gifts.Survivors include her husband, Jerry, her high school sweetheart, with whom she would have celebrated 55 years of love and happiness on June 4th; her children Penny (Jim), Mike (Michelle) and Jackie (Randy); her mother, Alice; her siblings, Maxine (Bob), Kathy (John), Gary (Laurie), Cindy (Rob), and Denny (Cheryl); and her four grandchildren, Zack, Allie, Nate, and Luke.She was preceded in death by her father, Ervin; her brother, Wayne; and her sister, Linda.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Fellowship Lutheran Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma officiated by Paster Allen Fox.Friends may send condolences to www.floralhaven.comAlthough things are tough right now, just remember every flower that ever blooms, had to go through a whole lot of dirt to get there.
