Carolyn will be dearly missed by her son: Ken McCarty and wife, Ginger; daughter: Gina Phillips and husband, Bob; grandchildren: Cody Ryan Kirk, Taylor Watson Kirk, Ian Michael McCarty and wife, Jackie, Richard Connor McCarty, Sean Ruff, and William Bell.Carolyn is preceded by her parents: James and Estell (Watson) Prater; husband: Kenneth Louis McCarty Sr.; sisters: Inez Shaw, ElleMae Castlow and Mildred; and brothers: L.J. Prater, and Jim Prater.Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 31, 2017, 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Visitation Suites in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.A Celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2017, 3:00 PM, in the Garden of St. Paul at the Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.Carolyn’s wish is in lieu of flowers, make donations to your local Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).A full obituary will soon to follow.
