I can't bring myself to write just yet, but there is an emptiness that goes to my soul now and will never heal. She was my soulmate and best friend and i feel like I am just killing time until I can , perhaps, see her again. I feel like a stranger in my own house. I just go through the day-to-day motions but there is something terribly wrong with everything and nothing is right. I miss you soooo much sweetie and i have a hurt inside me where your smile and your love used to be. I loved you every minute since we met and i will continue to love for eternity.
I am shocked and saddened about just hearing the news about Cathy. I just read my school emails about her passing. I did not know that she had been ill. Cathy and I spent 10 years at Great Expectations summer camps. We worked closely together with lots of smiles, laughs and happy campers.Cathy was so energetic, caring, loving, fun, dedicated, a very proud mother and great one at that, an excellent teacher and friend and also ready with a laugh or smile to share. I knew her before she met Bob, the love of her life. She was so proud and we knew why, of her two boys. I am so sorry that I did not know about this to attend her service. I missed her yearly Christmas letter this last year and forgot to call to see what was going on. My prayers are with her family.Karen Thomas
