Cathryn Louise Breslin's Obituary
Cathryn Louise Groninga Breslin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend and teacher passed away on July 10, 2015 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born in Glendale, CA in 1962 to Charles and Norma Groninga. Even as a young girl, she loved to play teacher and create lessons for her sisters. She followed this childhood love and earned her Bachelors in Education from Oklahoma State University in 1988. For the next 27 years, “Mrs. B” led almost one thousand first graders teaching them to read, write, and fall in love with learning. She is survived by, and remains in the hearts of, her husband Bob, sons Derek and Benjamin, father Charles, sisters Kelly and Karen, brother Steve, and twin grandchildren Luna and Leo, as well as the countless other fmaily members, friends, and students whose lives she touched. Memorial service to be held at Floral Haven in Tulsa on Tuesday, July 14 at 10:00 am with visitation being held the day prior, July 13, 2015 from 2 pm to 8 pm with the family to greet from 6 pm to 8 pm.
