Charles Franklin Leslie's Obituary
Charles Franklin Leslie, 81, of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 following a courageous battle with multiple illnesses. He was born on October 9, 1939 in Conway, Arkansas and was the fifth son of William Clarence Leslie and Mae Murray Leslie. Following his mother's untimely death, Charles was fortunate to have been raised by his second Mom, Bertha "Elmo" Leslie. After graduating from high school, Charles went on to serve honorably in the United States Air Force. Prior to his first deployment, Charles met the love of his life, Linda Sue Deaton. They were married on May 18, 1962. During their 59 years of marriage, they shared their lives together, raised three children, and touched the hearts of many.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Linda Leslie of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three children, Robert Leslie and his wife Cheryl of Arlington, Texas; Charlotte (Leslie) Randolph and her husband Larry, of Rockwall, Texas; and William Franklin Leslie and his wife Rosemarie of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; his brother, Donald Leslie and his wife Fern of Greenbrier, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Kristin, Justin, Kyndall, Taylor and Kyleigh; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepmother, and 4 of his 5 beloved brothers.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens, in the Veteran's Field of Honor garden.
