Charlie had the patience of a saint as apprentice instructor! I gave him hell every Saturday for 4 years whether I attempted school or not LoL. I learned the trade from Charlie and for that I'm grateful. He had a way of teaching that was different for each person, he explained things in a way you could understand. Great instructor and an even better man !
What a memory this is - laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery 2018. I wouldn't have asked anyone else to share that solemn act.
