Today is my mother-in law Charline's Birthday. She would have been 89 years old today. I met her in 1991, 34 years ago at Scott and Cassie's rehearsal dinner. Eric and I just starting dating and I was so nervous to meet his whole family, but she made me feel so welcome and comfortable. She welcomed me into her family and we had many good times together. She became my mother-in law and friend. I have a wonderful memory of going to Pittsburgh with Eric, mom and dad and meeting Eric's grandmother. We had such a nice time visiting family, friends and sightseeing all the places were mom and dad grew up. We went shopping with her friend Clair and they took me to the Fiestaware factory because she knew I loved Fiestaware.
We had lots of family outings and vacations with my mom and dad and Charline and Al. Branson Mo. and the infamous Lake Powell trip! THAT was an adventure! Tons of family dinners, holidays and get togethers.
Thank you mom for Eric and for being such a special part of our lives. I love you and I will miss you.
Happy Birthday in Heaven, Mom ❤️
Love Irene
First my love & prayers go out to the family & friends.
I met Charline when I moved from Long Island, NY to Broken Arrow. My move was to be near my sister whose husband is brother-in-law to one of Charline’s sons. I remember how Charline & Al accepted me like family.
We had N.Y. memories to share as we only lived one town away from each other. Charline introduced me to dominoes. I remember all the fun we had playing as a “family” when we all got together for holidays, birthdays, & summer bbq’s. So many laughs. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her as well as Al were really good people. 🙏❤️
