Chris Hoornstra, 90 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at his residence with family by his side. He was born May 26, 1930 in Rotterdam, Holland to his parents, Jacob Josef Hoornstra and Johanna Read Obituary
Chris was a very kind man and one of the nicest guys I've known. I supervised and worked with him at the library for several years. He used to work with my grandfather many years ago and commented on how even if they didn't agree on something at work, they were always civil and left as friends. Chris reminded me so much of my grandfather. He was always whistling, smiling, and had a kind word to say to everyone. He always made everyone laugh too. He will truly be missed, and his former library colleagues send our condolences to the family on the loss of Chris and his wife, Hazel.
Rest in peace my good friend. Your kindness and generosity will always be remembered with great affection. It makes me happy to think that you followed your beloved wife almost immediately. I cannot imagine your life without her. Happy journey to heaven.
