Clarence Wayne Dill's Obituary
Clarence Wayne Dill, 75, of Tulsa, OK and formerly of Seminole, OK died February 9, 2015 with his family at his side. He was born August 13, 1939 in Seminole, OK to Alta and Earl Dill, Sr. He graduated from Seminole High School and received his Masters of Education from the University of Oklahoma. He continued his graduate studies in engineering at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the University of Tulsa. He was a Licensed Professional Engineer in the aviation industry for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Patricia Dill, and three children, Thomas Sanders, Sheila Vogann, and Staci Whitaker, all of Tulsa. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Galpin, and brother, Earl Dill, Jr., and his grandson, Charlie Vogann. Clarence will best be remembered as a man passionate about education and for his generous spirit. His desire was to help others to be successful in life by sharing his knowledge or his resources freely. He also had a love for animals, collecting books and antique radios, and studying history and family genealogy. Services will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at 2pm and the Tulsa International Church, 5880 S 129th E Ave. Graveside services will follow at Floral Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be held throughout the day on Thursday at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
