I am Margie Brown. My dad was the oldest of the 10 Walters children and Clarence was tthe second oldest and the same age as my mom. I was the first grandchild/niece in the family. In all of my years, from the time I can remember family get togethers, I never saw Clarence upset or mad, or in a bad mood. I'm sure he had his moments but I only saw my Uncle Clarence with a big smile on he face and wonderful laugh. I miss him but I believe he is in heaven now with his family.
Clarence was a 16 year old boy when I was born. I am Bobby and I was the last of ten children. The day I was born Clarence came home and when he saw me he told mom that I was the ugliest baby he'd ever seen. Later, he thought, that was an awful thing to say to our mom. I have many memories of Clarence. The only time I ever saw our mother cry was the day Clarence went of to war.
