I got the opportunity to help be a caregiver for Connie and Joe. They are by far the most amazing people I’ve ever had. My favorite memory would have to be when Joe would go outside and “walk the fence” is what he liked to call it, so that gave Connie and I our time together. She loved talking about her kids and grandchildren. She would talk about her grandchildren more than her own kids. She had so much love for her family. We use to talk about her growing up and what that was like. Connie had such a pure soul and I’ll forever be grateful that I was chosen to help this family out. Connie is my bestfriend and I will always hold her close to my heart. I don’t get to see her smiling face everyday, but these pictures give me that comfort knowing she’s okay and pain free.
