Corey Christopher Raschen's Obituary
Corey Christopher Raschen left his earthly body behind to join his friend, Jesus, on April 20, 2018 at the age of 46. Corey is survived by his parents, Fred and Loretta Raschen, his brother, Ed Raschen and wife, Kathy, his loving sister, Timi, and three much loved nieces, Claire, Caroline, and Davis Raschen, all of Tulsa, OK. Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Evelyn Kenreigh of Vinita, OK and John and Evelyn Reeves of Sulphur, OK. Corey was born on August 26, 1971 in Tulsa, OK. He graduated from Edison High School (Class of 1990), attended Colorado State University and completed his English Degree at Northeastern University. Corey loved life and was a joyous, happy child and young man. Corey loved everyone and everyone loved Corey. We will miss his love, but are so thankful that his earthly struggles of the last several years are over and he has achieved a wonderful peace with God. A “Celebration of Corey’s Life” is scheduled for Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, 3515 S. Harvard, with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Corey’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donation to Restore Hope, Animal Rescue Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
