Very sorry to hear about Gene. He was a wonderful man, a quiet leader, and so hospitable. When I first moved to Tulsa back in 1980, Gene and Berniece graciously opened their home to me for a month or more, until I could afford a place of my own. Many travelers have enjoyed their wonderful hospitality and have sat at their table.I regret that I could not be there today to pay my last respects. But our prayers will be with all of the family and loved ones.
gene was a very wonderful person, with a good heart, he was always very inspiring about spreading the word of god, he will surely be missed by all who knew him and learned from his teachings of jesus christ, may god bless his family abroad especially doris & family who he had grown to love. scott & diane
You shall be missed
You shall be missed. Rest in Peace.
Gene was a great man — a very gentle leader in the church for many years. When I moved to Tulsa back in 1980, Gene and Bernice were so kind to open up their home and keep me for a month or so, until I could afford an apartment on my own. I will never forget their gracious hospitality. They were known far and wide for such — many have graced their doors and been fed at their table through the years. Our prayers go out to all the family, especially to Sis and Smitty, part of our beloved "family" here in Rogers, Arkansas.
