Daniel Kubek Sims' Obituary
Daniel was born August 17, 1992 on the island of Guam. He was the first of eight children. Daniel and his family moved to the United States when he was 4 yrs old and because of his fathers career continued to move through many states until they settled in West Virginia. After graduating from Calhoun County High School, he joined the Air National Guard. He later transferred to the 138th Fighter Wing in Tulsa, Oklahoma to further his career in the Air Force. While stationed in Tulsa he became a member of the Honor Guard. He was a picture of excellence and accepted the challenge of perfection where he proved his capabilities time and time again.Daniel was not a religious young man, he was a Christian. He was brought up in a home that instilled in him great faith in God and the authority of His word. At the young age of eighteen he made a public commitment and was baptized and confessed Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. He became a light to the world, and all who spoke to him and saw the glory of God on his face could see what Jesus said, “A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden”. Daniel let his light shine and all saw his good works.Daniel is waiting in heaven to greet his mother and father, brothers, sisters, neices nephews, and all who put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. His mother and father being Peter and Linda Sims. His brothers and sisters being Jackie and Kevin Ruefly, Carla and David Kukoleck, Lisa, Ellio, Darren, Raquel, Rachel, Jesse and Justin Sims. His neices and nephews being Benjamin and Catlyn Ruefly, Josiah and Jedediah Kukoleck, Zemiriah and Keith Hardman, Trenton and Austin Sims, and Artimus Sims.
