David Duncan's Obituary
David Duncan, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on September 17, 1949, in Tulsa to Donald and Betty Duncan, David lived a full and fiercely independent life, always doing things his own way.
A proud Vietnam veteran, David served his country with honor and carried that same sense of duty into his civilian life as a Tulsa firefighter. Later, he worked in the oilfield industry, where his strong work ethic and determination stood out. He was a lifelong supporter of the University of Oklahoma, cheering on the Sooners with unwavering pride.
David was generous and loyal, he could always be counted on to help his loved ones. His bold personality extended to his politics as well—he was a proud supporter of Donald Trump and never hesitated to share his opinions.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Betty Duncan, and his beloved friend, Melissa Eylar.
David is survived by his brother William “Bill” Duncan, brother Donald Duncan and wife Linda, and four nephews, four great nieces, one great nephew, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
David will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him
Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 29th, 2025 from 5-7 PM at Floral Haven Funeral Home
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 30th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens - Veteran Field of Honor Phase III
