David M Frampton's Obituary
Dedicated and Loving Husband and Father.
Though born July 29, 1933, in Independence Kansas, David was raised and educated in Tulsa, Oklahoma. David Honorably served in the US Navy, 1953 through 1958, during the Korean War. He had careers in retail and banking as a specialist in security and was recognized for his expertise, honesty, and good judgment. He was also a Deputy Sheriff and licensed Private Investigator. David was an active member of Asbury Church for 50 years, singing in the Chancel Choir and volunteering in children's ministry. He was also a 32nd degree Mason and a member of Alder Shrine.
He loved his God, family, and country and believed strongly in prayer. David is loved for his sense of humor, generous spirit, and devotion to his family. Anyone close to David knew him as "Mr. Wonderful". He enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling, especially to Hawaii and Florida. He was extremely moved when visiting the Korean War Memorial during a trip to Washington DC.
David is preceded by his parents: Ray and Vesta Frampton; and sisters Virginia Ray Frampton and Jeanne Bolain. He is survived by his Wife, Nancy, of 52 years, and children David Steven Frampton, Virginia Brown, Debra Mann, Robert Frampton, and Marilyn McCarley, stepsons David Tulk and Steven Tulk, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
