Sister Mae was the hands and feet of Jesus a true light. I was blessed to have her as my Sunday school teacher as a child. She would always give the best hugs and made the best kool-aid she accidentally made it once with salt instead of sugar and we had a good laugh. I went down a rough path as a tenn/young adult but I clung to my memories of her and her teachings and would often think “ what would sister Mae think or do.” she was the real deal. Real proverbs 31 Titus 2 woman. I will forever cherish her and the memories I have. It was my favorite thing to see her comment on my Facebook post and I felt so honored and proud to have known her and learn from her. I can’t wait to see her again one day.
