I have such sweet memories of Delphine when she was church secretary at White City Baptist Church, while we were on staff there 1979-1981. Memories of the times we spent with Delphine, Melba, Patty, Sissy, Sherman and Diana always bring smiles to Howard and me; the Rider family reunion in 2005, Sunday dinners, Christmas dinner in 2009. My favorite "Delphine" memory – the stories Delphine told about babysitting for Howard and his siblings, which always ended with the phrase "He was such a sweet little boy."
