Thank you to each and every person that attended the services, called/emailed/signed the online book or sent prayers to Dency's family. It has meant so much to us. He was such an incredible and inspiring man that touched so many lives. He was a true man of God and has made such a positive impact on so many of us. I can envision Dency now, up in Heaven, telling his jokes and making everyone erupt in laughter. I feel blessed that God gave me such an awesome role model in life and our family is grateful for your prayers, love and support.

Dency enjoyed life and lived a long, successful one. He was always willing and bold to speak about his faith in Jesus Christ, and joyfully said the blessing at our family meals at a moment's notice – and they were not just a few words of thanksgiving for the meal but a true thankfulness from the heart for life in general. He and Lorene were able to share some happy times in their 'very' senior years which set a strong example that life does not end just because you reach a certain age. Neither one of them let the 'problems' of aging tie them down – they were as independent as worn and aged bodies would let them be and always eager to go out and eat. May all his family and friends go as he did – peacefully sleeping with a loved one and ready in the Lord.

We all join in our condolences to Connie and the family for Dency's passing. He was a great friend to my father and mother for many years in Florida. He remained a great friend to us all long afterwards.
