Joe, we just heard today of Denise's passing. We want you to know that you and your family are in our prayers. If I remember correctly, it was Denise who finally convinced you that you needed to record a program at God's Learning Channel in Odessa Texas. We're still airing those programs on GLC, and they're still making a difference in thousands of lives! It's not every wife who can do what she did behind the scenes — and send her husband off on countless missions — to ensure that the Body of Christ would grow in the knowledge of the Word. Truly Denise has now heard from the lips of Jesus Himself, "Well done good and faithful servant." May her memory be for a blessing to the tens of thousands that her humble life affected. Joe, and family I am so sorry for your loss. Denise was my cousin,(her dad and mine were brothers) and although I didn't have the opportunity to really get to know her well, I did talk to her at uncle Rube's funeral. She shared with me her love and passion for the gospel. It was thrilling to talk to her since I too shared in her passion. Although I knew we wouldn't be seeing her again, I look forward to spending time with her in heaven.. In the meantime, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers…

Joe and Family-Steph came across an old Christmas card that was sent to the church of your family that was wonderful. Denise will be sorely missed by so many, but by her family more than all. I have so many wonderful memories of growing up with Denise. Our mamaw lived with us, therefore, every Sunday… Uncle Rube and Aunt Bea, and family would come up to our home to visit. One memory sticks out in my mind…..Denise always had the latest records…..the old 45's and we would listen, sing and dance all day long……sometimes toward the end of visit…. I would actually hide the records so Denise would forget to take them….I would give them back to her the following Sunday. I shared this with her at one of our Campbell reunions and we had a good laugh.My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this most difficult time. I admired Denise and hold a deep respect for her. As Joe has shared stories of her wisdom, and love I felt like I better saw how strength and respect for God and your husband and family can have such a lasting impact.
