Dennis,
You were Mr. Wonderful for sure!
You had great advice and always something that would leave a smile on your face.

May the Lord Bless and keep the family and give you comfort and peace.Lewis Family
This earth will miss him dearly, but heaven has gained an amazing angel. I remember the first time meeting him, I was coming over to “meet the parents “ for the first time. Dennis rushed to the door with Josh, because he wanted to meet me first, they welcomed me into the house and Dennis began a line of 20 questions followed by many jokes. At one point Pat called me into the kitchen to “save us.” I give this example because he was always happy to see you, no matter who or when it was. Dennis always made you feel welcome and like you were the most important person. My prayers with all the family, he loved each one of you with his whole heart.
Great memories of a “wonderful” man! Prayers for the entire family as you navigate through this time of loss.
Sad for us left behind but what a glorious day for Dennis to stand with His Savior ! Will miss this kind and generous person.
Dear Pat,
I remember so well the exuberance of your late father, Earl L. Pounds, with respect to Dennis. He was delighted to have him as his son-in-law. Dennis had a wonderful sense of humor that endeared him to all who knew him. He will be missed, just as my dear Rose Marie is now missed. Yet, you will find strength to endure through the LORD Jesus Christ and your wonderful family. My prayers will encompass you as well.“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” (2 Cor. 5:8).
Prayers are with your family. Remember all the happy memories.
My dear friend Dennis Carey. You have been and always will be an inspiration to me and my family. You have been the epitome of what a friend truly is. You take the expression “would give you the shirt off his back” to an all new level. I will always remember your unique sense of humor. You have been an honorable man, a Godly example to all you have encountered. You along with Pat raised 2 fine young men in Josh and Jake. My family and I have been truly blest having know you. We love you Dennis.
