Doilis J. Taylor's Obituary
Doilis Jonhenry Taylor, 67, of Broken Arrow, died on Wednesday, October 15, 2014, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 31, 1947, the son of John Doilis and Ruby (Snook) Taylor. He proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Doilis traveled the world as an international field service engineer, in the oil and gas industry. He had a passion for racing that he shared with his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting. He was talented when it came to working with mechanical things. He was a special father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be missed by all who know and love him. He is survived by his children; Dale Norling, Bonsall, California, Joanna Sprenger, and her husband, Mark, of Folsom, California, Jonathan Taylor, and his wife, Amanda, of Coweta, Oklahoma, Matthew Taylor, and his wife, Kelly, of Coweta, Oklahoma, and Spencer Taylor, of Broken Arrow, adopted daughter, Juliette Taylor, of Quito, Ecuador, grandchildren; Desiree, Anabell, Jordan, Kristina, Kaleena, Brent, Blake, Bryson, Tristan, Payton, Kaylen, and Evalyn, great-grandchildren; Brylee, Mayzee, and Finlee, siblings; Joyce Schmidt, of Aurora, Colorado, Daryl Taylor, Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jeanette Eddy, Aurora, California, and adopted brother and longtime friend, Will Duncan, and numerous other family members and friends. Doilis was preceded in death by his parents, and uncle, Sidney F. Taylor. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to Floral Haven Funeral Home, to assist with final expenses.
