My years working with Don El in the Mech/Elec section in the old Federal Courhouse were great years. Piling two disciplines in one room created a great atmosphere of joking between Mechanical and Electrical engineers.
Don El was one of the first people I met in the early eighties working on making a hybrid electric Volkswagen bug. From his influence I too became intrigued with the possibilities. A man ahead of his times.
He made my life better and those years at the Corps great.
