Donald Ray Crawford's Obituary
Donald Ray Crawford Sr, 79, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2020, surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home. He was born on July 14, 1941 in Tulsa Ok to Charles "Charlie" and Bonnie (Roy) Crawford. He graduated from Broken Arrow High School in 1959. He married the love of his life Glenda Gale Thompson on January 20, 1960. Ray worked as a mechanic for the family auto shop every chance he had. In 1971, he started serving the City of Tulsa as a Firefighter. When Ray wasn't working on cars or putting out fires, he was at the race track. Ray, Glenda, and their three children, Robin, Donnie, and Kelly spent a lot of nights under the track lights - this is where the family legacy began! Ray retired from Tulsa Fire Department but continued his passion for racing - also passing it down to his son and then eventually his grandson! He is survived by his wife Glenda, children, Robin (David) Majors, Donnie (Jodie) Crawford, and Kelly (John) Kiska , his niece Pam (Randy) Winsworth, seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and many more family
and close friends. Ray is proceeded in death by his Mother & Father, Brothers, Skeeter & Corky, Sister Charlotte, and his Grandson Donnie Ray.
We invite you to gather with the family on Saturday, October 24th 2020 at 11am at Rhema Bible Church in Broken Arrow, OK.
