Donald Lee Hux Sr.'s Obituary
Donald Lee Hux, Sr., age 79, went to be with the Lord on October 17, 2010. Don was in the tire business all of his life beginning in 1953 with Hux Tire in Oklahoma City, OK then moving to Tulsa, OK in 1967 where he started and continued to operate North Tulsa Tire. He was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Carolyn Sue 'Suzie' Hux, a brother Ruel 'Junior' Hux, a sister Leota 'LoLo' Tomberlin, and grandchildren Jason McIntosh and Amber Ellis. He is survived by two sisters, JoAnna Trimble of Oklahoma City, OK and Wanda Baker and husband Junior of California. Daughter, Saundra Williams and husband Lee of Illinois. Son Donnie Hux, Jr. and wife Debbie of Fayetteville, AR. Son Dino Hux and wife Teri of Sand Springs, OK. Daughter Diane Ellis of Tulsa, OK. Step daughters Tina Davis and husband Kevin of Owasso, OK, Lisa Stern and husband Bob of Claremore, OK and Jami Benson of Tulsa, OK. Grandchildren Dacia Thibodeaux and husband James, Andrian Williams and wife Pam, Sammie Beaver and husband Scott, Megan White and husband Chooch, Nick Brandt and wife Brandi, Jamie Stephens and husband Chuck, Aaron Hux, Amy Worthington and husband Jeremy, Shane McIntosh and wife Christy, Johnna Smith and husband Glen, Becky Robinson and husband Nick, Robbie Ellis, Jarrett Davis, Eddie Stern, Joey Stern, Teddie Stern, and 23 great children.
