Donald Ray Maxwell's Obituary
Donald Ray Maxwell departed for his heavenly home on Monday, December 30, 2024.
Don was born July 7, 1951, in Edmond, OK to Lloyd and Minnie (Chastain) Maxwell. He was the youngest of five children. He moved to the Tulsa area in 1998, and married the love of his life Robin, February 14, 1999. The two were inseparable.
Don had no children; however, he welcomed Robins's son Jeremy as his own. He soon became ‘PaPa” to two grandchildren, Jared and Kaitlyn.
Don’s passion was skydiving year-round even in snow. He made the best of friends through his tight-knit group of fellow Skydivers.
Don was forever a Marine. He was proud of his service to his country. Both he and his brother, L.D. served in Vietnam at the same time.
Don loved to tell stories about his family, he was a loyal friend and a loving gentle, and caring husband. He will be missed by all who were fortunate to know him.
Don is survived by his loving wife, Robin, his sisters, Fran and Sharon, brothers, Larry and L.D., son Jeremy and grandchildren, Jared and Kaitlyn.
