Don had a farm in Locust Grove where he raised pigs. My two brothers and I spent time with Don there at the farm. I remember fun times playing board games with Don and Mike and David. Like boys do, we got into trouble one day when we let some of the pigs out of their pen! Don had to chase the pigs around the pasture and was not very happy with us for awhile!
Don has been a part of our lives since my earliest childhood. He will be missed.
Don and my father, Gene Oliver, coached me and my two brothers, Michael and David, in our first years in baseball and flag football. Those are fond memories from our childhood.
