My grandmother was an amazing person. The one person I could talk with about anything and all she did was genuinely love. I am very grateful that Deanna got to know her and hope to fill Caydence’s life with many stories and traditions that started with Gran. There truly is no one else like her on this side of Heaven. She is loved and missed.
From about 1980 until I left ORU in 1988, Dora was the best administrative assistant I ever had. Not only was she an excellent employee, she was a trusted confidant and a wonderful friend. We continued to stay in touch and I will miss her emails, cards, and information as well as her gentleness when we did see each other in person.
I will never forget Dora’s smile the first time I walked in her office for my interview with Dr Dyer. We were so excited when she retired and was able to travel with Gary. She will be missed.
I remember being one of the many new faculty and staff at TCC who were helped in many ways by Dora, as we navigated the new campus environment and new jobs. I always enjoyed her smile and calm demeanor. I offer my condolences to Gary and the family.
