Earl Lee Skaggs' Obituary
Earl Lee Skaggs, born September 17, 1934, passed into Heaven on December 3, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Skaggs and Dorothy Prindle; his brother, Stanley Skaggs; and his wife of 55 years, Shirley Jeanette Skaggs.
He is survived by his children, Robert, Richard, John and Shari; his grandchildren, Michelle, her husband, Robbie, Lindsey, Bethany, her husband Will, Benjamin and Anna; his adoptive granddaughter, Valiya; and his great grandsons, Tyler and Liam.
Earl was a proud member and veteran of the United States Navy.
He served the Southern Baptist Church for 56 years in pastoral ministry. His last pastorate was Hilldale Baptist Church. He faithfully served there for 20 years. Earl traveled the world as a missionary sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. He was tireless in his love for the Lord and his love for people.
