Eddie Leon Partney's Obituary
Eddie Leon Partney, 78 of Tulsa, Oklahoma passed from this life on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in a Tulsa hospital. He was born January 8, 1942 in Sundown, Texas to his parents, Lloyd Cleve Partney and Laura Lyle Graves Partney. He married the love of his life, Gwendolyn Gaye Ponder on December 20, 1963 in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they have shared in over 57 wonderful years together.
Eddie worked as a nuclear power fabrication inspector for many years and served in the United States Air Force.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Gwendolyn Gaye Partney of the home; two sons, Greg Partney and his wife Lynn of Claremore, Oklahoma and Eddie Leon Partney, II and his wife Yani of Dallas, Texas; two siblings, Bob Partney and his wife Grace of Birmingham, Alabama and Ruth Todd of Sand Springs, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Lacie Partney-Owen, Bailie Partney-Landes, Jacob Tyler Partney and Grace Ashbey Partney; three great-grandchildren, Kash Logan Brown, Karlie Hope Landes and Jayden Shea Landes; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Floral Haven Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Floral Haven's Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
