Edward J. Adams' Obituary
Edward “Eddie” John Adams, 67, son of Robert and Adaline Adams, resident of Tulsa and longtime Real Estate Professional, died Saturday, November 30th. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, December 4th at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel, with Brad Jones officiating. Eddie was born June 4th, 1946 in Tulsa and grew up on his family’s dairy farm, Adams Acres, in Broken Arrow. In 1964, Eddie was the first graduate of Memorial High School. Eddie went on to attend OU, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, and then attended TU. After college, Eddie followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and father to become a part of the mortgage industry. Eddie joined Adams & Leonard, along with his father Robert Adams. A Real Estate Broker since 1971, Eddie continued on the Adams’ family legacy as the head of Adams Mortgage Investments, Inc. Eddie will be remembered best for his orney sense of humor and his love of OU. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Benita, daughter Heather Adams, son Ryan Adams, son Spencer Adams and wife Karissa Adams, grandsons Skyler, Declan, and Holden Adams, and his faithful dog, Gauge. Eddie is also survived by his Brother Oliver “Boots” Adams and wife Peggy Adams, niece Sarah Frye and husband Matt Frye, great-niece Sydney Frye, nephew Robert Adams, and many cousins.
