Theron and I were so very blessed to be included as a friend of Elmer and his lovely wife Audrey. To know Elmer was a blessing. I think if you could have sat with Elmer everyday and have a conversation with him you would not be able to hear the same story or adventure. He could make you belly laugh with his smile. Elmer lived everyday to the fullest. The most interesting man I have ever met. You could not come away from a visit with him that you left knowing something you didn't know before. He made you appreciate that life was a gift and to never take it for granted. He saw life, people, objects, time not as it was but what it could be. I loved to hear him sing. I loved to watch him as he looked upon his wife, children, grandchildren, friends, you could just see the love and the expectations he had for all. I am so very sad knowing I won't see him in this life. I am very happy for him he has been restored and walking in Heaven with all his family and friends. He will be thought of daily and missed greatly. Love you sweet friend. I still say you should have been a singer! All you have accomplished and all you have shared will always be with us.
I will truly miss you Elmer , you always had time to teach and share your knowledge with me and help me further myself and my career, and if I had a engineering or question or something I didn't quite know how to fix it or understand it or come up with a solution you were always willing to help me anytime and for that I will always be grateful to you.God Bless John and Audry and Rhonda and the whole family your in my thought and prayersLove alwaysBud Brady
