Sis. Rettie was my friend. She always had a smile and an encouraging word. She told me once that she didn’t feel she could do a lot but she could be a cheerleader for what others were doing so she was going to be my cheerleader. She became one of my greatest encouragers. I loved her very much. She will be missed.
The first time I met her, she said, "My name is Rettie, but you can call me Nana!" & I did! I loved that she always had a hug for me whenever I saw her. I will never forget when I stayed the night at her house with Samantha and Dalena. It was a fun time with lots of laughter! I'm so sorry for your loss; Heaven is truly sweeter with her there. You all are in my thoughts and prayers!
