Elvin "Doc" Hugh Davis' Obituary
Elvin Hugh “Doc” Davis of Tulsa passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 15, 2014. He was born October 23, 1929 in Garden City, Oklahoma to Lonnie and Dora Davis and lived most of his life in Tulsa. “Doc” had many friends and was a well respected Podiatrist who practiced for 50 years. His passion in life was golf, and he traveled nationally competing in and winning many tournaments. He prided himself with being a scratch golfer during the height of his golfing career. “Doc” is survived by his much loved children, Klay, Karen, Kimberly, Kelli, Kristin and their families. In his final days he had a joyous reunion with some of his closest loved ones. The family celebrates his freedom and salvation as he meets his Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Private Family Services will be held at Floral Haven Memorial Gardens.
