I met Carolyn thru her beautiful daughter Julie, (Julie and I were roommates our Senior year at Oklahoma Christian). I stayed with the Coday family for a short time a couple years out of college. This mother daughter duo were quite the pair, and the wit did not fall far from the tree. I'd watch Julie and Carolyn walk in sync. I later told Julie "I nicknamed you and your mom 'the lil strutters'"- This Colorado girl's 'style' was polar opposite of this duo! They were the walking epitome of Southern Style! I last saw Carolyn a year ago when I visited Julie. Her parents walked in the house and I thought 'WOW' Carolyn! SO well manicured (like Julie of course). Her skin, her hair, her red nails-just lovely! I was blessed to sit side by side with Carolyn as we held hands never letting go for at least two hours. When they were walking out I was reminded by Carolyn not to take so long visiting next time. Sadly, there will not be a next time-Carolyn's journey on this earth is completed. For those who knew her, and spent much more time than I, are truly blessed! For me, what a wonderful ray of light Carolyn was, and in my memory will forever remain.
