Eugene Douglas Hall's Obituary
Eugene Hall, born March 4, 1951, Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025, at the age of 73. Was a proud graduate of Central High School. He furthered his education at Oklahoma State University's Okmulgee Branch School of Technical, setting the stage for a hands-on career. Eugene served in the U.S. Army as a Specialist 4 (SP4) beginning in June of 1972, a time he often reflected on with pride. Upon returning to civilian life, he worked at Builders Supply Inc. as a locksmith for over 10 years, a role he held from 1995 until his retirement.
A man of many talents and a bold personality, Eugene was known for his outspoken nature and lack of a filter—he always said what was on his mind. His larger-than-life personality was matched only by his equally large ego. He raised his stepchildren, Tracey and Scott, alongside his beloved Lynn, whom he loved deeply. Eugene also co-parented with his first wife, Marshall Ann Williams, and together they had a daughter, Sharon, who was his pride and joy. He embraced Sharon's sister, Sabrina, as his own, extending his love to her as well.
Eugene’s life was filled with joy, creativity, and adventure. A true lover of life, he found happiness in many things. He had a special fondness for roller skating and spent many years gliding across the rink with a smile on his face. His love for building planes reflected his inventive nature, always eager to work with his hands and learn new things. Eugene also had a deep affection for cats, which brought him comfort and companionship throughout his life.
Eugene’s heart belonged to his family, especially to his wife, Lynne Hall. Together, they shared a love for travel, exploring new places and creating lasting memories. Eugene was a devoted husband and a proud father, always putting his family first.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Eugene’s spirit, warmth, and zest for life will forever be remembered by his grandchildren, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
