Eunice Copeland's Obituary
Eunice Lee Copeland, 86 of Tulsa, passed away peacefully November, 7, 2019. She was born May 14, in 1933, Huntington Park California, to Lillian and George Mapes. She is survived by her husband Jack and 3 of her 4 children Cathi, Kevin and Kelly, 7 grand children and 3 great grandchildren.Eunice decided to become a school teacher in a most unusual way. She was married with 4 very young children and successfully completed her bachelors degree. IDEA ABOUT MATH CLASS. when she decided was a retired school teacher, lover of family, travel and and a long- time christian. Eunice was a member of east Tulsa Christian Church and then North Side Christian Church. At North Side, she was a founding member of Tuesday’s Grace. After Eunice retired from teaching in Tulsa she spent many of her early years volunteering teaching others to read and helping teachers in the classroom at Rhodes ElementaryEunice loved to shop at goodwill knowing it would help those in need if and when she made purchases. She also loved to send cards and write letters of encouragement to others. When she was able she crafted, volunteered at the church food bank and with Jack, would visit shut- ins.Eunice Lee loved all of her friends dearly and spoke of each of them often in the last few months of her life.A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 12:30, Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel.
