To The Family. I first met Florence when were backyard neighbors in 1968. I spent a lot time with her and Emmet, Charlotte, Judy and Cheryl. But my fondest memory of her was when she came to house and did my hair for my senior prom. I still remember the beautiful "up-do" she created to match my dress. Thank you Florence for that memory of a very special event. Cherri Lammers Miller
Hello Daughters of Florence Rambo, I'm sorry to hear that your mother has passed away. Your folks were our neighbors and your mother was my friend about 1967-1969 while we were living in Camino Villa Mobile Home Park here in Broken Arrow, Ok. She was a very sweet and special woman and I liked her really much. My family was Newt and me, Eddene Thompson with 2 sons and a daughter. The boys were the same age as your little brother, Kim. They are Johnnie and David Thompson and our younger little girl, Janet. The kids played together a lot and some of you girls baby-sat for us a few times.. and were really good. I remember one time your mother had been mowing her yard with a push-mower, pulled it backwards towards herself and ran her foot in under it cut it really bad. Those times were good, happy years mostly and she and I enjoyed visiting a lot. You girls were so pretty, I thought. Here is a couple of pictures of our family back then in about 1968. I thought you'd enjoy seeing us. The one on the left is David, then Janet and then Johnnie Thompson. Several years later we had to move to Kansas for a job and we had another little girl, Debra there. Janet Roe, our daughter, passed away Nov 19, 2018 of cancer. Whenever I have thought of your family, it has been with happy memories of good times. I'm sure that you all have a lot of happy memories to help tide you over during these times. I'm sorry that your dad and Kim have already passed on. I pray God's abundant blessings upon all of you and your families. Love to all of you, Eddene Thompson of Village Health Care Center, Broken Arrow, Ok. aka [email protected]
