Fred was a dear and close friend of mine growing up. I am saddened to hear of his passing.
I cannot sum up what my father means to me even if I was tasked with writing the largest book in the world. But I will share a memory. Me and him worked together to build a rubber band powered airplane. He let me pick the design. We spent weeks building the plane. And the box to contain it. We would fly in an old armory. And thanks to our teamwork we won 1st place with a 12 minute flight time. I will miss you dad.
Fred is my brother in law. One of the first thing that comes to me was his long hair. I just loved it. I stay with them in Denver. He helped to teach my oldest son(who was a baby)to go up and down stairs. Play in the snow and when the dogs would bark to hush.
Back in July 2015 they came to visit me in the hospital. In South Carolina in July it's very hot and humidit. It was great to see them.
He was a good person. Took great care of his family and loved his job.
I and all will truly miss him.

That smile!!! That never ending smile. Fred's agreeable nature was evident to anyone who knew him. He always went out of the way to help wherever he saw the need. Fred was reliable, capable, caring and a joy to be around. His spirit will be missed.
