Fred Dale Hair's Obituary
Fred Dale Hair, born on March 16, 1956, in Colorado Springs, CO, to Richard Eugene and Shirley Ruth (Josepeit) Hair, passed away on June 26, 2023, in Tulsa, OK. Fred's life was defined by his love for adventure, his cherished collections, and his dedicated career. He started with American Airlines in 1986, serving the company for an admirable 37 years.
Fred's passion for exploration led him on countless adventures and trips, where he embraced the thrill of discovering new places. He found solace in the beauty of the world and never ceased to be amazed by its wonders.
Among his treasured possessions was an extensive collection of flashlights, a testament to his preparedness and curiosity. Fred's fascination with model airplanes and rockets allowed him to indulge in his creativity and technical prowess, crafting intricate models that took flight in his imagination.
Throughout his dedicated career at American Airlines, Fred demonstrated unwavering commitment and professionalism. His years of service were marked by hard work, loyalty, and the respect of his colleagues. He made a lasting impact on the company and those he worked alongside.
Fred leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his beloved wife, Gail Hair, and their children, Patrick Alan Hair, Christopher Thomas Hair, and Sarah Michelle Hudson. His father, Richard E Hair, will forever hold Fred close in his heart. Fred’s grandchildren, Jaden Thomas Hair, Araya Sunshine Hair, and Amberlynn Rialgh Hair brought him immeasurable joy and will carry his spirit forward. He is also survived by his brothers, David Paul Hair and Leslie Chris Hair, his niece, Kaelin Hair, his nephew, Logan Hair, and his cousin, Steve West.
Fred's mother, Shirley Ruth Hair, preceded him in death, and her memory will forever be cherished alongside his.
The Celebration of Life service in his honor will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel. Following the service, a reception will take place at the Floral Haven family center.
To honor Fred's memory and his love for Hawaiian shirts, we encourage attendees to wear Hawaiian shirts as well. It's a beautiful way to pay tribute to his unique personality and the things he enjoyed.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. St. Jude's is a renowned institution that provides specialized medical care to children and conducts important research to find cures for childhood diseases. Donating to St. Jude's in Fred's name is a meaningful way to support a cause he cared about.
