I’m so sorry to hear of Galen’s passing. I first met him in 1965 in OKC and saw him in DC just before he left for Vietnam. We corresponded a few years ago and he shared pictures of his beautiful family. You could feel how very proud he was the minute he started talking about them. He was a kind and special man. Sincerest condolences.
My wife and I had the pleasure of knowing Galen for the last 30 years of his extraordinary life. I know that he will be sorely missed. He was a generous person and a good friend.
