Dear Karen,We grieve with you upon the death of your beloved father. We love you and regret that we will be unable to attend the service on Friday. We will be in prayer for you and your family.
Rest in peace Uncle Jerry. I know you are now much happier since you are with Aunt Kathy. Give everyone a big hug and kiss from me ok? Love you….Lurla
Jerry was a most unique individual who was a lot of fun to be around. His sense of humor was priceless, his Super Bowl parties unforgetable and his golf game, especially his putting, was at times superb. I'll never forget him and the smiles he put on so many faces, including my own.
If you were looking for a next door neighbor you couldn't find a better one than Gerry. He loved golf…I mean really loved golf he would be out in the yard practicing all the time. He every so often would hit balls over the fence into our yard and come get the ones he could see. Which would leave one out in the grass to be found by the mower and do interesting things. I would find the chewed up golf ball and toss it over the fence for him to find. And I would wait until the next time we both saw each other and he would say you don't like golf…and I would say no the mower doesn't..it sort of became a running joke between us. I over the last few days have been thinking about him because Sunday morning as I was walking to church he asked that question for the last time. He is really going to be missed.
All condolences to the loved ones of Jerry Lamb. Know that you are in many hearts and and prayers. All Love, Sadie
My friend and great neighbor…received an email just minutes ago…Oh how I'm going to miss you…this neighborhood has lost a fine, knowledgeable person and friend that I will never forget. We had many wonderful talks, laughs and sadness too after Kathy passed away. You were so lost and never got over her passing. I felt very honored knowing both of you. Your kindness will always be remembered…your concern about Sailor and me….finding out who fixed my privacy fence after the ice storm…or talking about the grass in our yards…Jerry, your spirit will always be in this neighborhood…Rest in peace my friend…your work is finished here but your legacy lives on.
Great grandpa Lamb we will miss you. We loved it when we got to see you for holidays. We were always shy. But came along. You will be missed bunches. And We love you so much. Love always Caleb, DAEMIAN & Amber.
