Uncle Glen, what a good man he was--kind, gentle, and generous. I loved how he laughed, then put his head down and steadily nodded his head. A humble man who acknowledged Christ in his life before he passed (thanks Aunt Retha). He's in Jesus' arms now and beholding all the glory of heaven. Hallelujah!
Speaking for Wanda (his sister) . . . she will miss him terribly. They shared a special closeness. He was always so dear to her. She shared stories of gigging frogs and skinning squirrels (to eat) together. Yikes! She wishes she could be at the funeral.
God bless you, Aunt Phyllis. You and Uncle Glen were such a lovely match. It was clear in the early San Jose days (when I visited you) that he cherished you. Lots of life ahead for you to enjoy, Auntie. You have so much to give.
Love and prayers, Deb (niece)
