Glen Adams' Obituary
Glen Joe Adams, 82 of Coweta, Oklahoma passed from this life on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at his home with his family by his side. He was born June 1, 1939 in Sedgwick, Arkansas to his parents, Elvis Henry Adams and Cozetta Vernie Holder Adams. On December 9, 1972 he took the hand of Phyllis Elaine Stafford and they were married in Carson City, Nevada. Over the next 48 years they built a family made many wonderful memories together.
Glen is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis Adams of the home; one son, Mark Adams of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two step-children, Richard D.Schmid of Prosper, Texas and Karyn Schmid-Zerr and her husband Phillip of Hillsboro, Oregon; three siblings, Wanda Welsh of Monument, Colorado, Retha Holzwarth of Porterville, California and Donald Garner and his wife Wanda of Nampa, Idaho; four grandchildren, Ryan Stearns, Karyssa Stearns, Jakob Zerr and Brandi Schmid; three great-grandchildren, Oliver Rodriquez, Anna Stearns and Theodore Rodriquez; and many friends and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Elvis Lee Adams and one grandson, Richard A.Schmid.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 11, 2021 at Floral Haven's Rose Chapel.
