Hallie Marie Patrick's Obituary
Hallie, 92, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, joyfully entered into the beloved presence of her Lord on April 12, 2015 in San Antonio TX. Born on June 7, 1922 to Luther and Pearl Jones in Eldorado, OK, Hallie spent her childhood days in southwest Oklahoma and graduated from LaHoma High School in LaHoma OK. Growing up in Oklahoma she met and married her husband of nearly 68 years, Glendale, on December 14, 1941 in Muskogee OK. She was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Pearl Jones, her husband Glendale Patrick and brothers Rayburn and Don Jones. She is survived by her daughter KaJean Miller and husband Steve of San Antonio TX; grandchildren Krista Tedrow and husband Randy of Colorado Springs CO, Lindsey Cancino and husband James of San Antonio TX, Nathan Miller and wife Tosha of Plano TX; great grandchildren Kaleigh, Chase and Connor Tedrow of Colorado Springs CO and Jackson Miller of Plano Texas. She is also survived by her sister LaJuan McCullough of Broken Arrow OK. After their marriage Hallie and Glen moved to Tulsa OK where they remained longtime residents of Tulsa till January 2006. A faithful and lovingly devoted wife, Hallie served alongside of her husband at the Douglas Plant in Tulsa during World War II. She was, a graduate of Draughon Business Institute in Tulsa OK, worked in the registrar’s office of Tulsa University and the essential picture of a homemaker. A dedicated mom in all aspects, she was fully engaged in the activities of her daughter from sporting events, special occasions and birthdays and just precious, lifelong moments shared between a mother and a daughter. A grandmother compared to no one, Hallie literally traveled all over the world to spend time with her grandchildren. The picture of mercy and service, she gave much joy, humor, and the spiritual example much needed by a mother and grandmother. She loved her Bible and was a longtime active member of Springdale Baptist Church as a teacher and hostess, where she gave immeasurable love, comfort and rich fellowship. She will be missed beyond comparison, but her memory as a faithful and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews as well as dear friends, her care for others and a deep abiding love for Her Lord brings lasting comfort.Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2015 from 5-7 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Graveside Service will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery Memorial Service will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Floral Haven Funeral Home Chapel
