Harley Roy Keele's Obituary
Harley Roy Keele, 81, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, went to be with his Lord on November 2, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on January 16, 1939 to Roy Lee and Syble L. Keele.
Harley was married to Carolyn on May 27, 1960. He and Carolyn enjoyed a wonderful life together full of love for over 55 years. Harley was preceded in death by his parents and wife Carolyn.
He is survived by his brother, Garry Keele and wife Ina of Broken Arrow, sister Glenda Bogle and husband TJ of Wagoner, sister Kathy Talbot and husband Richard of Wagoner, brother in law Robert Ingold and wife Betty of Tulsa, brother in law Paul (Buster) Lemon of Okmulgee and many nieces and nephews he loved very much.
Harley started attending church at a very early age. He attended the Church of Christ in Broken Arrow. Harley graduated from The University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During his career he was President of Braden Winch in Broken Arrow and spent many years of his career as an executive with PACCAR in Seattle Washington. Harley and Carolyn retired in 1986 and spent several wonderful years together in retirement.
Harley enjoyed his time serving on the Board at First National Bank in Broken Arrow. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, studying the Bible and volunteering at the Oklahoma Cancer Specialist and Research Institute. Recently Harley went on mission trips to Belize. He loved life and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Harley was loved by all and will be greatly missed by family and friends. A private family service has been planned in memory of Harley. Interment will be at Park Grove.
