Growing up I got the pleasure of being a part of the Horn family. Harry's daughter Lisa and I were best friends and we went everywhere together. Harry and Virginia were always there for us. He would always make us laugh and I truly enjoyed his sense of humor. He always made sure we had plenty of food around. Every morning I was there, he would say — hey Lis…do you want some donuts? How about some cereal? I will never forget it! He just loved taking care of us.To this day, he still joked around and was a joy to be around. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend. I know I will miss him and my heart hurts for his family. God has definitely received a very special angel and I know he will be an asset to heaven just as he was on earth. — Debbie Greene

My husband and I have known Harry for many years. He was part of our Rodeo/roping family. Always a joy to be around. To many of these cowboys are leaving us, so glad we knew Harry.

I will miss Grandpa Harry so much! Yellow roses are still my favorite because he brought them to me when I was little. He taught me how to ride and take care of horses. He loved animals and even took in and spoiled that sweet little kitten that I just couldn't leave at the shelter. We named her Dolly after his favorite singer. He loved teasing me and my friends. He had a great nickname for everyone. He called me "Jules" and my brother "Buster." He loved our annual silly poems, skits, songs, and "Horny Awards!" He was sweet and stubborn and hilarious. He was a wonderful husband, an awesome dad, a great friend, and the world's best grandpa.

I want to share my memories of my Dad, Harry Horn. He was the absolute best dad ever. He was always there for me. I loved going to his family farm when I was little and playing with all the animals. I loved having horses growing up and going to rodeos with him. He loved my husband and my kids and grandkids so much and we're really going to miss him. He had a great life and had so many friends and lived it to the fullest.Anita Adams
