What a joy she was to be around! We have so many wonderful memories of our adventures with Helen. From Slaughterville to Vegas to Paris to Lake Tahoe and Newport she was always a good sport. We feel very blessed having known her and her wonderful family and will miss her smile and laughter.
Helen was such a bright spirit. She was one of the bravest people we have ever known and such a good sport. She was always willing to go camping with us or just sit in the water with us at the lake all day as long as the fun and wine continued. Even though she didn't have a lot of speech, she sure did communicate! A few of our favorites were "no and no", "I want some wine", "Oh Boy!", "Dammit Jim!" and the best ever, "I knew it!" when she found out she was being served virgin margaritas. Our lives are richer for having her in our lives and you all showed us the true meaning of family and loving care. We share your grief and will keep all of you in our prayers. Tom & EAnn
I mourn the loss of my Aunt Helen. I have fond memories of times our familys spent together growing up. Christmas's as children, time at our grandparents lake house, with Helen, Vital, Ray and Virginia playing cards or dominoes while the kids ran and played outside. She was such a courageous woman with all the things that she has accomplished since being in a wheelchair. If I am half the woman that she was, I will consider myself very fortunate. I will miss her smile and laughter. But mostly I will miss her singing Happy Birthday to us all. And by the Grace of God, we will all be reunited one day.Brenda Corgill
We all mourn the loss of a wonderful family member, we called "Granny" she brought us an infectious laughter, a life time of love, and memories. I thank God that she was in our lives and I am honored to know the family and friends she influenced. We all will see her again by the grace of God.
