Mark Davis
I am Mark Davis. I was in Mrs. Jameson's class in 1973. She loved us like one of her own. She was fun. We wanted to learn to please her. We were prepared for the next grade at the end of our school year. This was the year before I got glasses and I was near sited and she sat me in front of class so I could see the chalkboard. She secretly let me know that I did the best in her class on our achievement tests. This was a great boost to my self esteem. Her respect of me, looking me right in the eye when conversing and her stellar ability to teach mean so much to me and always will. For those willing to read a few more thoughts, the 70's were just about the end of the really good times. We didn't need to lock the doors to our houses or cars. We were pretty tough. The elementary school didn't have air conditioning but we did fine with those big floor commercial fans. Mrs. Jameson's class was at the West end of the building and faced 31 street which was cool to glance out and see what was going on. We had those giant swings for recess and the monkey bars they just took out. A big concrete tile and a merry-go-round too! It was a wonderful time. Mrs. Jameson was a joy. When I would see her in later years she would say I just want to hug your neck! Thank you ma'am for your dedication and influence on all our lives. Heaven is indescribably awesome and you are there. God's deep comfort to this precious family. Mrs. Jameson was honored greatly today at her service.
