Inez Jameson's Obituary
Inez Jameson of Tulsa, Ok passed away August 2, 2016. She was born April 5, 1922, in Waldron, AR. Inez graduated from high school in Waldron, AR and college at Conway State Teachers College in Conway, AR. After teaching for ten years in Arkansas, Inez and her husband Bill moved to Oklahoma with their daughter Carolyn. Inez accepted a teaching position in the Berryhill community where she was a beloved teacher for 29 years. After retirement, Inez continued living in Berryhill until 2011 when she moved to Tulsa and lived with Carolyn until November 2015. Inez then moved to University Village where she enjoyed participating in activities with her new friends and regular visits from Carolyn and other beloved family members and friends. Inez was preceded in death by her mother and father, Lillie and George Hand, husband Bill Jameson, and seven brothers and sisters. Inez is survived by her daughter Carolyn Forgy, granddaughter Stacey Butterfield, grandson Rick Ford, greatgrandchildren Jorja and Joseph Ford, as well as many relatives and friends. The family is grateful for the attention Inez received from the caring staff of University Village and Transitions Lifecare. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 5, at 3:00 at Floral Haven Funeral Home.
